In 2024, the consumption of electricity in households increased by 2.1% compared to 2023 and the consumption of gas from the network by 0.9%. Sale of heat energy to residential buildings decreased by 2.7%.

In Poland, as of the end of 2024, there were recorded almost 16.0 million dwellings (an increase of 1.2 % compared to the end of 2023). Their total useful floor area increase by 1.4%, the number of rooms by 1.1%.

According to preliminary data, in June 2025 services production was higher by 6.7% than a year before (at that time, it was recorded an increase of 3.1%), and in the relation to May 2025 increased by 5.6%.

On the last day of March 2025, 1 394.9 thousand persons in Poland were working exclusively under contracts of mandate and related contracts, i.e. 5.5% more than in March 2024. Compared with December 2024, their number decreased by 2.4%.

In 2023 the turnover value of enterprises conducting activities related to business services amounted to PLN 705.7 billion. In comparison to the previous year, the increase in turnover with the simultaneous growth of the number of enterprises and persons employed were observed.

Consumer prices in August 2025 increased by 2.9% compared with the corresponding month of the previous year (with an increase of prices of services by 6.0% and goods by 1.7%).

Foreign trade turnover in January-July 2025 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 887.2 bn, while in imports - PLN 901.6 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 14.5 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports decreased by 0.3%, and imports increased by 3.1%.

The expenditures on social protection benefits in Poland in 2022 developed according to the methodology of the European system of integrated social protection statistics (ESSPROS) amounted to 638.2 billion PLN. In comparison with 2021 the expenditures increased by 7.8%.
