The current consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was -38.4a which was by 1.2 p.p. lower in relation to last month.

Financial results of non-financial enterprises in the 1st quarter of 2023

In the 1st quarter of 2023 financial results of the surveyed non-financial enterprises were similar to those obtained a year earlier. The economic and financial indicators decreased. Investment outlays were higher by 7.2% than those recorded in the 1st quarter of 2022 (when there was an increase by 1.3%).

Retail sales index - April 2022

In April 2022 retail sales[1] at constant prices were by 19,0% higher than the year before (against an increase of 21.1% in April 2021). Compared with March 2022 retail sales decreased by 0.1%. In the period of January-Apil[2] 2022 retail sales y/y were by 10.8% higher (against an increase of 6.4 in 2021).

Index numbers of construction and assembly production in April 2022

Acording to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was in April 2022 by 9.3% higher than a year before (against a decrease of 4.2% the year before) and by 5.9% lower compared with March 2022 (an increase of 9.9% the year before).
