In January 2023, sold production of industry was by 2.6% higher than in January 2022, when an increase was recorded by 18.0% as compared to the corresponding period of of the previous year, whereas in comparison with December 2022, it decreased by 2.5%.

Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January-December 2022

Foreign trade turnover[1] in January – December 2022 (based on temporary data[2]) in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1 607.3 bn, while in imports - PLN 1 699.8 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 92.5 bn, while in the same period of 2021 year was negative and amounted to PLN 7.0 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of 2021 exports increased by 22.1%, while imports by 28.5%.
