Economic poverty rates in Poland in 2022

In 2022, the extent of economic poverty in Poland remained at a similar level as in 2021, although the average material situation of households worsened in real terms, due, among other things, to high inflation[1]. As in the previous year, the extreme poverty rate was less than 5%, the relative poverty rate was about 12% and the legal poverty rate was about 7%.
