On the last day of January 2026, there were 1 119.0 thousand foreigners performing work in Poland, i.e. 7.1% (74.1 thousand) more than at the end of January 2025. Compared with 31 December 2025, their number decreased by 1.9% (22.1 thousand).

The publication presents the results of business tendency survey, indicating key trends and factors limiting activity of enterprises in various areas of the economy (manufacturing, construction, trade and services).

At the end of December 2025, residents of Mazowieckie Voivodship constituted 16.6% of the country's workforce. Their number amounted to more thab 2.5 million persons and increased by 0.7% during the year. There were 454 employed persons per 1,000 residents; this indicator higher for men than for women. The mean age of employed persons was 43.1 years.
