Emergency rescue services activity in 2025

In 2025, fire brigades intervened in 496.0 thousand events, of which 323.0 thousand related to local threats, 117.6 thousand - fires and 55.4 thousand - false alarms. Water life rescue services carried out 2 445 rescue operations in which 1 578 drawning persons were saved. The Mountain Volunteer Rescue Service carried out 2 744 rescue operations, encompassing 2 952 persons, while the Tatra Volunteer Rescue Service intervened 1 098 times, saving 1 256 persons.

Functioning of stationary social welfare facilities in Mazowieckie Voivodship in 2025

As of 31 December 2025, there were 338 stationary social welfare facilities operating in Mazowieckie Voivodship, with 20.4 thousand places and 18.5 thousand residents. Compared to 2024, the number of stationary social welfare facilities increased by 8.7%, the number of places in these facilities increased by 8.9%, and the number of residents by 7.9%
