On the last day of January 2026, there were 1 119.0 thousand foreigners performing work in Poland, i.e. 7.1% (74.1 thousand) more than at the end of January 2025. Compared with 31 December 2025, their number decreased by 1.9% (22.1 thousand).
As at 31 January 2026, among foreigners performing work, men constituted the majority – their share was 59.9% ‒ 0.2 percentage points (pp) more than a year before and 0.1 pp more than at the end of December 2025.
Compared with the end of January 2025, in the analysed population the number of both men and women increased – by 6.6% and 7.4%, respectively. Compared with 31 December 2025 the number of women decreased by 2.1%, and the number of men decreased by 1.8%.
