Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January - November 2024
Foreign trade turnover[1] in January - November 2024 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1 394.8 bn, while in imports - PLN 1 388.5 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 6.4 bn, while in the same period of 2023 year amounted to PLN 47.3 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports decreased by 7.0%, and imports by 4.5%.

Consumer price indices in December 2024
Consumer prices in December 2024, compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, increased by 4,7% (with an increase of prices of services – by 6,6% and goods – by 4,0%). As related to the previous month consumer prices remained on average at the level similar to that of the previuos month (with an increase of prices of services – by 0,1% and the prices of goods remaining at the same level). Consumer prices in 2024, compared with the previous year, increased by 3,6%.

Index numbers of sold production of industry in December 2024
In December 2024, sold production of industry was by 0.2% higher than in December 2023, when a decrease was recorded by 3.5% as compared to the corresponding period of 2022, whereas in comparison with November 2024, it decreased by 8.0%. In the period January-December of 2024, sold production of industry was by 0.3% higher than in the corresponding period of 2023, which saw a decrease by 1.7% as compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
