Use of public transport by households (EU-SILC 2024 survey module results)

Almost 60% of households in Poland declared use of public transport within 12 months[1]. The percentage of households using public transport was much higher among urban than rural areas (67.9% and 43.1%, respectively).
Among the 17 statistical regions (NUTS2) the highest percentage of households declaring use of public transport in the last 12 months was in the Warszawski Stołeczny region (82.2%), while the lowest was in the Mazowiecki Regionalny region, which is the second part of the Mazowieckie voivodeship (42.7%).
