Foreign trade turnover in January-August 2023 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1 070.5 bn, while in imports - PLN 1 029.4 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 41.1 bn, while in the same period of 2022 year was negative and amounted to PLN 60.1 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports increased by 3.2%, while imports decreased by 6.2%.

Consumer prices in September 2023, compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, increased by 8,2% (with an increase of prices of services – by 9,7% and goods – by 7,6%). As related to the previous month consumer prices decreased by 0,4% (with a decrease of prices of goods – by 0,5% and services – by 0,2%).

As at the end of September 2023 the REGON register included 5 114.9 thous. of national economy entities, i.e. by 0.3% more than a month before. The number of newly registered entities in September amounted to 30.8 thous.
