Consumer prices in November 2024, compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, increased by 4,7% (with an increase of prices of services – by 7,2% and goods – by 3,8%). As related to the previous month consumer prices incresed by 0,5% (of which goods – by 0,5% and services – by 0,3%).

Foreign trade turnover in January - October 2024 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1 261.6 bn, while in imports - PLN 1 251.6 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 10.1 bn, while in the same period of 2023 year amounted to PLN 45.5 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports decreased by 7.3%, and imports by 4.9%.

The financial results of cultural institutions for the three quarters of 2024 were higher compared to those obtained in the same period of the previous year. Total revenues increased by 14.5% during this time, total costs increased by 14.6% and capital expenditures decreased by 5.3%.

As at the end of November 2024 the REGON register included 5 299.1 thous. of national economy entities. The number of newly registered entities in November amounted to 28.6 thous., i.e. by 11.5% less than a month before.

45,660 persons injured in accidents at work were reported in January-September 2024, by 0.3% fewer than in January-September 2023. The number of injured persons per 1,000 employed persons (the incidence rate) increased from 3.22 to 3.28.

In Poland, at the end of the third quarter of 2024, there were 3.1% more job vacancies than at the end of the second quarter of 2024. The job vacancy rate increased by 0.04 percentage points (0.93%) compared with the second quarter of 2024.
