In the first three quarters 2024, there were less dwellings completed than the year before. Whereas the number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project as well as dwellings in which construction has begun increased.

In 2024, the percentage of individuals aged 16–74 having basic or above basic digital skills amounted to 48.8%, that is, 4.5 p.p. more than in the previous year.

The number of social assistance beneficiaries amounted to 1 274.9 thousand persons and was lower by 27.4 thousand (2.1%) than in 2022. The range of benefiting from social assistance, i.e. the share of beneficiaries in the total population remained unchanged and amounted to 3.4%.

As of December 2023 in Poland, there were 4,006.4 thousand persons who had a valid certificate of disability or level of disability issued by the medical examination committee or a certificate of the level of incapacity to work issued by the Social Insurance Institution.
