In March of 2018, sold production of industry was by 1.8% higher than in March of 2017, whereas an increase of 16.2% was reported in construction-assembly production. In the period January-March of 2018, sold production of industry was by 5.6% higher than in the corresponding period of 2017 which saw a 7.3% increase, whereas construction-assembly production was by 26.1% higher than in the corresponding period of 2017 which saw a 3.9% increase.

According to preliminary data in March 2018 the prices of sold production of industry were by 0.4% higher in compar-ison to February 2018. The prices of construction and assembly production were higher by 0.2%.

In the period of three months of 2018 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project and the number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased.

In March 2018, average paid employment in enterprise sector was higher by 3.7% y/y and amounted to 6205.3 tousand, and average gross wages and salaries were higher by 6.7% y/y and amounted to 4886.56 zł.
