Consumer prices according to a flash estimate in March 2018, compared with the previous month, decreased by 0,1% (price index 99,9), and compared with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 1,3% (price index 101,3).

According to the EDP notification, in 2017 the general government deficit was 1,5% of GDP, while the general government debt amounted to 50,6% of GDP.

The supply and use tables form an integral part of the National Accounts System, covered by the SNA/ESA methodology. The tables play an extremely important role, providing a detailed database for analysing the supply and use of goods and services, and provides grounds for developing the remaining accounts. They present the supply, for the economy as a whole and for selected groups of goods and services, based on domestic production and imports, as well as its use for intermediate consumption, private and collective consumption, gross outlays on fixed assets, an increase in the current tangible assets and exports.

The publication consists of methodological notes, comments to tables, analytic chapter and statistical tables and graphs (in Polish and English). The presented data concern unemployed persons registered in powiats labour offices and searching a job through these offices. The information on the unemployed is presented by sex, age, level of education, duration of unemployment, regions, voivodships, subregions, and powiats.

It contains basic indices of the socio-economic situation of the country, presented in the monthly, quarterly and annual series, including, among others, the national accounts, information on demography, the labour market, wages and salaries, social benefits, prices, money supply, public finances and finances of non-financial enterprises, investment outlays, agriculture, industry, construction, transport, domestic and foreign trade, along with monthly or quarterly data characterising the socio-economic situation of voivodships and EU countries.
