Prices of agricultural products in March 2016

Together with “The release on general government deficit and debt in 2015”, the CSO issues hereby updated 2014-2015 (annual and quarterly) GDP estimates.

In March of 2016, sold production of industry was by 0.5% higher than in March of 2015, whereas a decrease of 15.8% was reported in construction-assembly production.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in March 2016 were of 0.1% lower than in the previous month. The drop of prices was recorded in sections: manufacturing of 0.2% as well as in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply – of 0.1%.

According to the EDP notification, in 2015 the general government deficit was equal 46 666 mln zl (2,6% GDP), while the general government debt amounted to 917 772 mln zl (51,3% GDP).

In the period of three months of 2016 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project and the number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased.
