In the first two months of 2019 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased, whereas the number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project decreased.

According to preliminary data in February 2019 the prices of construction and assembly production were higher by 0.1% in comparison to previous month and by 3.6% in comparison to February 2018.

In February 2019, sold production of industry was by 6.9% higher than in February 2018, which saw 7.3% increase, whereas in comparison with January 2019, it decreased by 1.5%. In the period January-February of 2019, sold production of industry was by 6.7% higher than in the corresponding period of 2018, which saw a 8.0% increase.

According to preliminary data in February 2019 the prices of sold production of industry were higher in comparison to the previous month by 0.5%. In comparison to the corresponding period of the last year the prices increased by 2.9%.

In February 2019, average paid employment in enterprise sector was higher by 2.9% y/y and amounted to 6378.0 thousand, and average gross wages and salaries were higher by 7.6% y/y and amounted to 4949.42 zł.

Price index of consumer goods and services in January 2019 as related to December 2018 amounted to 99,8 (price decrease of 0,2%).
