Price index of consumer goods and services for September 2018 was 103.5 (increased by 3.5%) as related to September 2012.

Price index of consumer goods and services for the first three quarters of 2018 have increased by 1,7 %, as compared to the first three quarters of 2017.

Prices of durable non-foodstuffs in the third quarter of 2018 have decreased by 0.1% as compared to the second quarter of 2018.

Price index of consumer goods and services in the third quarter of 2018 was 100.0 as compared to the second quarter of 2018 (prices remained on the same level).

Consumer prices in September 2018, compared with the previous month, increased by 0,2% (of which goods – by 0,5%, with a decrease of prices of services – by 0,5%). Compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, consumer prices increased by 1,9% (of which goods – by 2,0% and services – by 1,5%).

Foreign trade turnover1 in January – August this year according to exports at current prices amounted to PLN 607.7 bn, while imports amounted to PLN 615.8 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 8.1 bn, while in the same period last year it was positive and amounted to PLN 4.4 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2017, exports increased by 5.4%, and imports by 7.7%.
