Price of one square meter of usable floor space of a residential building in the first quarter of 2020 was 4567 PLN.

According to preliminary data in April 2020 the prices of construction and assembly production were higher by 2.8% in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year and by 0.2% in comparison with March 2020.

In April 2020, sold production of industry was by 24.6% lower than in April 2019, when the growth was recorded by 9.2%, whereas in comparison with March 2020, it decreased by 25.5%. In the period January-April of 2020, sold production of industry was by 5.6% lower than in the corresponding period of 2019, which saw a 6.8% increase.

According to preliminary data in April 2020 the prices of sold production of industry decreased compared to the same month of the previous year by 1.3% and compared to March 2020 by 0.6%.

Price index of construction and assembly production in the first quarter of 2020 as compared to the fourth quarter of 2019 increased by 0.7%.

As of the end of 2019, 523 indoor cinemas were operating (5.2% more in comparison to 2018). During the year, 61.7 million spectators watched films in indoor cinemas on 2.2 million screenings. In 2019 in Poland, 283 films were produced for presentation in cinemas and in television.

Average monthly wage and salary in enterprise sector excluding payments from profit in April 2020 was 5284.92 PLN.

Average monthly gross wage and salary in enterprise sector in April 2020 was 5285.01 PLN.

In April 2020, average paid employment in enterprise sector was lower by 2.1% y/y and amounted to 6258.8 thousand, while average gross wages and salaries were higher by 1.9% y/y and amounted to 5285.01 PLN.

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products decreased in April 2020 in comparison with the previous month (by 4.1%), while compared to April 2019 (by 3.6%).
