Index numbers of sold production of industry in August 2019

In August 2019, sold production of industry was by 1.3% lower than in August 2018, when the growth was recorded by 5.0%, whereas in comparison with July 2019, it decreased by 6.0%. In the period January-August of 2019, sold production of industry was by 4.3% higher than in the corresponding period of 2018, when an increase of 6.5% was recorded.

On September 12, 2019, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Public Procurement Office, the LUX CLARA IN CONTRACTIS PUBLICIS Awards were granted. The awards were granted in three categories: Employer, Contractor and People distinguished for the public procurement system. The winners were selected by a jury consisting of eminent experts on public procurement.

The value of turnover of enterprises conducting activities related to business services amounted to PLN 338.7 billion. In comparison to the previous year, the increase in turnover with the simultaneous growth in the number of enterprises and persons employed were observed.
