In the 1st quarter of 2021, a decrease in border traffic was observed compared to the corresponding period of the last year - foreigners by 42.3%, Poles by 34.7%.

In the first quarter of 2021 financial results of cultural institutions were lower compared to results in the same quarter of the previous year. Total revenues decreased by 9.4% and total costs by 8.8%. Investment outlays decreased by 17.4%.

At the end of 2020, outpatient health care was carried out by 21.5 thousand outpatient departments and 4.0 thousand medical and stomatological practices providing services funded by public sources. During the year, 256.6 milllion doctors consultations and 26.5 million dentists consultations were provided. Over 36% of total doctors consultations in primary health care were provided via telephone.

In the first three months of 2021, there was a decrease in the total number of tourists accommodated in accommodation establishments – by 71.9%, and in the number of overnight stays – by 72.8%, compared to the first quarter of 2020. At the same time, a decrease in the number of foreign tourists by 87.9% was recorded.
