In December 2020, sold production of industry was by 11.2% higher than in December 2019, when an increase was recorded by 3.8% as compared to the previous year, whereas in comparison with November 2020, it decreased by 4.4%.

According to preliminary data, in December 2020 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 2.7%, and in comparison with November 2020 - by 0.2%.

In December 2020 retail sales1 at constant prices were by 0.8% lower than the year before (against a growth of 5.7% in December 2019). Compared with November 2020 retail sales increased by 19.8%. In the period of January-December2 2020 retail sales y/y were by 3.1% lower (against a growth of 5.4% in 2019).

According to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was in December 2020 by 3.4% higher than a year before (against a decrease by 3.3% the year before) and by 34.4% higher compared with November 2020 (against a increase by 23.7% the year before).

According to preliminary data, in December 2020 the prices of sold production of industry remained at a level similar to that recorded in the corresponding month of the previous year and compared to November 2020 increased by 0.2%.

Foreign and domestic tourists using the accommodation base and granted accommodation in tourist accommodation facilities with 10 or more beds in 2020.

Apart from financial and insurance activities section, in other presented kinds of activities general business climate indicator in January is at a higher level than in the previous month. However, in most of them the indicator is still negative.
