Foreign and domestic tourists using the accommodation base and granted accommodation in tourist accommodation facilities with 10 or more beds in 2020.

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products in-creased in January 2021 in comparison with the previous month by 0.3%, but they were, however, lower compared to January 2020 by 3.6%.

In most of presented kinds of activities general business climate indicator in February remains at a similar level or it is better than in the previous month. The indicator is positive only in information and communication section. The most pessimistic assessments are reported by companies operating in the field of accommodation and food service activities, although these entities note the biggest month-to-month improvement in this respect. In most of researched areas improvement of “forecast” components has been reported, whereas in “diagnostic” ones – deterioration or no change.

Price index of construction and assembly production in the fourth quarter of 2020 as compared to the third quarter of 2020 increased by 0,6%.

In January 2021 retail sales1 at constant prices2 were by 6.0% lower than the year before (against a growth of 3.5% in January 2020). Compared with December 2020 retail sales decreased by 24.9%.

According to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was in January 2021 by 10.0% lower than a year before (against an increase by 6.4% the year before) and by 62.8% lower compared with December 2020 (against a decrease by 57.3% the year before).

In January 2021, there were less dwellings completed than the year before. Whereas the number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project and the number of dwellings in which construction has begun increased.

Announced that the average monthly wage and salary in the national economy less contributions for retirement pension insurance, disability insurance and sickness insurance deducted from earnings of the persons insured in 2020 amounted to PLN 4 512.41, and in the second half of 2020 amounted to PLN 4 651.78.

According to preliminary data, in January 2021 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 2.3%, and in comparison with December 2020 - by 0.1%

In January 2021, sold production of industry was by 0.9% higher than in January 2020, when an increase was recorded by 1.1% as compared to the previous year, whereas in comparison with December 2020 it decreased by 5.1%.
