Procurement prices of basic agricultural products increased in July 2022 in comparison with the previous month (by 1.0%) as well as while compared to the corresponding month of the previous year (by 51.6%).

In all of presented kinds of activities general business climate indicator in August is at a similar or lower level as compared to the previous month. In all of researched areas “diagnostic” components do not change or worsen, whereas in the case of “forecast” ones they differ depending on area of economy.

Price index of construction and assembly production in the second quarter of 2022 as compared to the first quarter of 2022 increased by 4.0 %.

According to preliminary data, in July 2022 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 13.4%, and in comparison with June 2022 - by 0.8%.

Average monthly wage and salary in enterprise sector excluding payments from profit in July 2022 was PLN 6777.22

In July 2022, sold production of industry was by 7.6% higher than in July 2021, when an increase was recorded by 9.5% as compared to the previous year, whereas in comparison with June 2022, it decreased by 6.5%.

Average monthly gross wage and salary in enterprise sector in July 2022 was PLN 6778.63.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in July 2022 increased compared to June 2022 by 0.9% and compared to that recorded in the corre-sponding month of the previous year - by 24.9%.

In July 2022, average paid employment in the enterprise sector compared to July 2021 was higher by 2.3% y/y and amounted to 6508.3 thousand full-time equivalents.

In August 2022, there was a deterioration in both current and future consumer sentiment moods compared to the previous month. The current consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was -44.9 which was by 3.2 p.p. lower in relation to last month.
