In January 2022, average paid employment in the enterprise sector compared to the January 2021 was higher by 2.3% y/y and amounted to 6459.8 thousand full-time jobs. In comparison to the previous month average paid employment increased by 1.5%. Average gross wages and salaries in the enterprise sector in January 2022 compared to the January 2021 were higher by 9.5% y/y and amounted to 6064.24 PLN. In comparison to December 2021 average gross wages and salaries decreased by 8.7%.

In December 2021 entities having 50 or more persons employed and participating in the monthly survey of production of industrial products, reported production of 5 222 685 face masks used in medicine and 4 172 917 other protective face masks.

In December 2021, average paid employment in the enterprise sector was higher by 0.5% y/y and amounted to 6361.6 thousand full-time jobs. In comparison to the previous month average paid employment remained at the similar level (100.0%). Average gross wages and salaries in December 2021 were higher by 11.2% y/y and amounted to 6644.39 PLN. In comparison to November 2021 average gross wages and salaries increased by 10.3%.

In all of presented kinds of activities general business climate indicator in January this year is at a level that is similar or lower than in the previous month. In most of researched areas deterioration of “forecast” components is reported, whereas “diagnostic” ones decrease or do not change.

In November 2021 entities having 50 or more persons employed and participating in the monthly survey of production of industrial products, reported production of 779 005 face masks used in medicine and 6 725 122 other protective face masks.

The financial results of cultural institutions for the three quarters of 2021 increased in comparison to results obtained in the corresponding period of the previous year. Total revenues increased by 5.3% during this period. Investment outlays decreased by 8.7%.

In November 2021, average paid employment in enterprise sector was higher by 0.7% y/y and amounted to 6363.7 thousand, while average wages and salaries were higher by 9.8% y/y and amounted to 6022.49 PLN (gross).
