According to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was in August 2020 by 12.1% lower than a year before (against an increase by 2.6% the year before) and by 3.5% lower compared with July 2020 (against an increase by 2.2% the year before).
In comparison to August 2019 the decrease in the value of construction and assembly production was recorded in entities performing specialised construction activities (5.2%) and in whose basic type of activity was construction of buildings (9.5%) and in entities dealing mainly with civil engineering works (16.9%).
