According to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was in August 2024 by 9.6% lower than in the same period of 2023 (an increase of 3.5% the year before) and by 1.5% lower compared to July 2024 (an increase of 7.5% in the corresponding period of 2023).
Construction and assembly production in August 2024, showed an annual decrease in all divisions of construction. For entities dealing mainly with civil engineering works it rec-orded of 10.6%, performing specialised construction activities of 9.8% and entities whose basic type of activity was construction of buildings of 7.9%.
Preliminary data; comprise enterprises employing over 9 persons, whose the main type of activity is included in the section F "Construction" in accordance with the Polish Classifi-cation of Activities (PKD 2007).
