Financial results of cultural institutions in the first quarter of 2025 (preliminary data)

In the first quarter of 2025, the financial result of cultural institutions was 20.3% higher than a year earlier. Total revenues increased by 10.3% and total costs – by 9.2%. On the other hand, investment outlays were lower than a year before – by 5.9%.
In the first quarter of 2025, total revenues of cultural institutions amounted to PLN 4,203.9 million and were higher by 10.3% compared to the first quarter of 2024. In the structure of revenues, 94.0% were net revenues from sales of products, goods and materials, 5.7% – other operating revenues, and 0.3% – financial revenues. Almost 25% of the total revenues of cultural institutions were total revenues of entities located in Mazowieckie Voivodeship.
