According to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was in November 2024 by 9.3% lower than in the same period of 2023 (an increase of 3.8% the year before) and by 3.3% higher compared to October 2024 (an increase of 3.0% in the corresponding period of 2023).

Border traffic and expenses made by foreigners in Poland and by Poles abroad in the 3rd quarter of 2024
In the 3rd quarter of 2024, there was a decrease in border traffic of foreigners by 2.3% and an increase of Poles by 2.6%, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The values of goods and services purchased in this period by foreigners in Poland and goods and services purchased by Poles abroad were higher than in the 3rd quarter of 2023 by 6.3% and 8.4% respectively.

According to preliminary data, in November 2024 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 4.3%, and in comparison with October 2024 they remained at a level similar to that recorded in the previous month.

Index numbers of sold production of industry in November 2024
In November 2024, sold production of industry was by 1.5% lower than in November 2023, when a decrease was recorded by 0.3% as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, whereas in comparison with October 2024, it decreased by 5.4%. In the period January-November of 2024, sold production of industry was by 0.5% higher than in the corresponding period of 2023, which saw a decrease by 1.6% as compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
