In the fourth quarter of 2024, there were 82 029 registrations of enterprises recorded i.e. 7.3% less than in the corresponding period of previous year and 95 enterprises declared bankruptcy i.e. 3.0% less than in the fourth quarter of 2023.

As at the end of January 2025 the REGON register included 5 310.5 thous. of national economy entities. The number of newly registered entities in January amounted to 31.6 thous., i.e. by 19.0% more than a month before.

At the end of August 2024, the share of foreigners in the total number of people performing work was 6.8%. Foreigners performing work in August 2024 came from over 150 countries.
