On 1 January 2025, Poland took over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, as the first country of the Poland-Denmark-Cyprus trio. Statistics Poland, alongside other ministries and central offices, are involved in the work of the Presidency. For Statistics Poland, Poland's Presidency of the Council of the EU is primarily the Presidency of the Council Working Party on Statistics (CWPS).

As of January 2025, the title of the news release and publication ‘Business tendency survey in manufacturing, construction, trade and service’ will change. The new title will be ‘Business tendency’. The news release under the changed title will be made available on 22 January 2025 and the publication on 24 January 2025. The news releases and publications will continue to be published on a monthly basis.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk appointed PhD Marek Cierpiał-Wolan, as of January 1, 2025, to the position of President of the Statistics Poland.

This is the next edition of the report containing the results of The European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC). The paper consists of an analytical part and a tabular part. The report also includes methodological remarks on the EU-SILC 2023 survey. The publication also presents the results of modular surveys carried out in 2023: "Housing Conditions" and “Intergenerational transmission of advantages and disadvantages”.
