In the period of first ten months of 2018 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project and the number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased.

In October 2018, average paid employment in enterprise sector was higher by 3.2% y/y and amounted to 6227.3 thousand, and average gross wages and salaries were higher by 7.6% y/y and amounted to 4921.39 zl.

Consumer prices in October 2018, compared with the previous month, increased by 0,4% (of which goods – by 0,5%, with the prices of services remaining at the same level).

According to the flash estimate, gross domestic product (GDP) in volume terms seasonally unadjusted was higher by 5.1 % in the 3rd quarter of 2018 year-to-year against 5.4 % in the corresponding period of 2017.
