Average domestic procurement price of wheat in the first half of 2018 was PLN 67,01 / 1 dt.

Price index of basic agricultural products in the first half of 2018 was 94.7 (the prices decreased by 5.3 %) as related to second half of 2017.

According to preliminary data in June 2018 the prices of sold production of industry were by 0.3% higher in comparison to May 2018. It is estimated that the prices of construction and assembly production in June 2018 increased by 0.4% in comparison to the previous month.

In June of 2018, sold production of industry was by 6.8% higher than in June of 2017, whereas an increase of 24.7% was reported in construction-assembly production. In the period January-June of 2018, sold production of industry was by 6.2% higher than in the corresponding period of 2017 which saw a 5.8% increase, whereas construction-assembly production was by 23.7% higher than in the corresponding period of 2017 which saw a 7.6% increase.

In June 2018, average paid employment in enterprise sector was higher by 3.7% y/y and amounted to 6222.1 thousand, and average gross wages and salaries were higher by 7.5% y/y and amounted to 4848.16 zl.

In the period of first six months of 2018 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project and the number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased.
