Average monthly gross wage and salary in enterprise sector in February 2021 was 5568.82 PLN

In March 2021, there was an improvement in both current and future consumer sentiment moods compared to the previous month. The current consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was -23.0 which was by 2.2 p.p. higher in relation to last month.

In February 2021, average paid employment in enterprise sector was lower by 1.7% y/y and amounted to 6334.0 thousand, while average wages and salaries were higher by 4.5% y/y and amounted to 5568.82 PLN (gross).

Statistics Poland informs that, according to final data, the price index of consumer goods and services in January 2021 as related to December 2020 amounted to 101.3 (price increase of 1.3%).

The positive balance reached the level of PLN 3.7 bn, while in the same period of 2020 year amounted to PLN 1.1 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of 2020 exports increased by 1.0%, while imports decreased by 2.0%.
