It contains basic indices of the socio-economic situation of the country, presented in the monthly, quarterly and annual series, including, among others, the national accounts, information on demography, the labour market, wages and salaries, social benefits, prices, money supply, public finances and finances of non-financial enterprises, investment outlays, agriculture, industry, construction, transport, domestic and foreign trade, along with monthly or quarterly data characterising the socio-economic situation of voivodships and EU countries.

The most comprehensive publication of Statistics Poland with key statistical data on Poland, as well as major regional differences and international comparisons. The presented data enable a complex description of the socio-economic situation of the country including retrospective comparisons. It is a compendium of information on, among others, population, labour market, education, living conditions, economy and business, as well as environment and natural resources, reflecting rich collection of statistics gathered and shared by official statistics.

The publication presents indicators to assess the state of green economy in Poland. They have been included in four basic thematic areas, i.e. natural asset base, environmental and resource productivity of the economy, environmental quality of life as well as economic opportunities and policy responses. The study also presents context indicators constituting the source of basic information on the socio-economic state of the country. In this year's edition of the publication selected indicators of green economy were presented against the background of European Union countries.
