According to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was in December 2019 by 3.3% lower than a year before and by 23.7% higher compared with November 2019 (against increases accordingly by 12.3% and by 21.8% in the corresponding period of 2018).

In 2019 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings in which construction has begun and the number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project also increased.

In December 2019, average paid employment in enterprise sector was higher by 2.6% y/y and amounted to 6396.0 thousand, and average gross wages and salaries were higher by 6.2% y/y and amounted to 5604.25 PLN.
