Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January-July 2019

Foreign trade turnover in January – July this year
according to exports at current prices amounted to PLN
578.5 bn, while imports amounted to PLN 579,2.8 bn. The
negative balance reached the level of PLN 0.7 bn, while in
the same period last year amounted to minus PLN 8.8 bn.
In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2018,
exports increased by 6.6%, and imports by 5.0%.

Consumer prices according to the flash estimate in August 2019, compared with the previous month, remained at the same level (price index 100,0), and compared with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 2,8% (price index 102,8).

Domestic deliveries and consumption of selected consumer goods per capita in 2018

In 2018 domestic meat deliveries1 (including pork, beef,
veal and poultry meat) remained at a similar level as in
the previous year and amounted to PLN 4 167 thousand
tonnes.
