According to preliminary data, in November 2020 the prices of sold production of industry decreased in comparison with the correspnding month of the previous year by 0.2%, and compared to October 2020, they remained at a level similar to that recorded a month ago.

In 2019, 1289 social and professional reintegration units: social integration centres (CIS), social integration clubs (KIS), vocational activity establishments (ZAZ), occupational therapy workshops (WTZ) were active, i.e. 23 more than in 2018. During 2019, almost 44.3 thousand people at risk of social exclusion benefited from social and professional reintegration services provided by CIS, ZAZ and WTZ, i.e. 0.6% less than in the previous year.

In November 2020, average paid employment in enterprise sector was lower by 1.2% y/y and amounted to 6318.9 thousand, while average gross wages and salaries were higher by 4.9% y/y and amounted to 5484.07 PLN.

In December 2020, there was an improvement in both current and future consumer sentiment moods compared to the previous month. The current consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was -24.9a which was by 4.3 p.p. higher in relation to last month.

The results of the survey of tourist accommodation establishments showed that in September this year 2.2 million tourists stayed at the accommodation establishments. Compared to the same month last year, when 3.3 million people were recorded, there were 34.5% fewer tourists.

Foreign trade turnover1 in the January – October this year according to exports at current prices amounted to PLN 854.5 bn, while imports amounted to PLN 811.9 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 42.6 bn, while in the same period of 2019 year amounted to PLN 3.3 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2019, both exports and imports decreased by 0.2% and 4.8% respectively.
