Foreign trade turnover in January – May 2021 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 512.2 bn, while in imports - PLN 496.2 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 16.0 bn, while in the same period of 2020 year amounted to PLN 8.8 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of 2020 exports increased by 28.6%, while imports by 27.4%.

The value of total assets collected by investment funds at the end of December 2020 amounted to PLN 317.3 billion (an increase by 1.0% compared to the previous year). In 2020, investment funds achieved a positive result on operations in the amount of PLN 10.0 billion (PLN 3.4 billion less than in the previous year). The value of the funds' investments decreased to PLN 253.3 billion (by 10.2%).

The value of sold production of own products by producers in 2020 r. decreased in relation to 2019 by 5.3% and amounted to 1 147 427.1 million PLN.

As of the end of 2020, there were 7,782 public libraries, including 5,169 library branches. Public libraries carried 873 branches for children and youths and 867 libraries points. During the year 4,919.3 thousand readers borrowed 77.5 million volumes of collection.

In 2020, the study covered 52 entities conducting factoring activities. The number of purchased invoices by the surveyed companies increased by 4.7% compared to the previous year, and the value of purchased receivables decreased by 1.9% compared to the previous year. The number of clients using factoring services increased by 12.0%.

Profitability of five year treasury bonds transmitted for the nearest day preceding the day of 30 June 2021 was 1,476 %.

Price indices of residential premises by voivodships in the first quarter of 2021 as compared to the fourth quarter of 2020.

Prices of residential premises in the first quarter of 2021, compared to the fourth quarter of 2020, increased by 2.0% (of which on the primary market - by 2.1% and on the secondary market - by 1.9%). Compared to the corresponding quarter of 2020, prices of residential premises increased by 7.2% (of which on the primary market - by 6.5% and on the secondary market - by 7.8%).
