In all of presented kinds of activities general business climate indicator in July is at a lower or similar level as compared to the previous month. In most of researched areas “forecast” components deteriorate, whereas “diagnostic” ones do not change or worsen.

In June 2022 retail sales at constant prices were by 3.2% higher than the year before (against an increase of 8.6% in June 2021). Compared with May 2022 retail sales decreased by 1.4%. In the period of January-June 2022 retail sales y/y were by 9.1% higher (against an increase of 7.8% in 2021).

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products increased in June 2022 in comparison with the previous month (by 1.2%) as well as while compared to the corresponding month of the previous year (by 45.8%).

In the first half of 2022, there were more dwellings completed than the year before. Whereas the number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project as well as dwellings in which construction has begun decreased.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in June 2022 increased compared to May 2022 by 1.6% and compared to that recorded in the corresponding month of the previous year - by 25.6%.

Average monthly wage and salary in enterprise sector excluding payments from profit in the second quarter of 2022 was PLN 6565.44.

Average monthly gross wage and salary in enterprise sector in the second quarter of 2022 was PLN 6566.15 zł.

According to preliminary data, in June 2022 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 13.2%, and in comparison with May 2022 - by 1.4%

In June 2022, sold production of industry was by 10.4% higher than in June 2021, when an increase was recorded by 18.1% as compared to the previous year, whereas in comparison with May 2022, it decreased by 0.3%. In the period January - June of 2022, sold production of industry was by 13.6% higher than in the corresponding period of 2021, which saw an increase by 18.2%.
