These supply and use tables form part of the system of national accounts compiled according to the SNA/ESA methodology. They play a particularly significant role of a detailed database for the products and services supply and use analysis, providing grounds for the work on the remaining accounts. With respect to the economy as a whole and to individual groups of goods and services, it presents the entire supply from domestic production and imports, and their use as part of intermediate consumption expenditure, individual and collective consumption expenditure, gross fixed capital formation, changes in inventories and exports. Data for global output and intermediate consumption are presented by NACE divisions and by CPA divisions. Data for imports, trade and transport margins, taxes less subsidies on products, final consumption expenditure by households, by by non-profit institutions serving households (NPISH) and by general government, gross fixed capital formation, changes in inventories and changes in valuables and exports are presented by CPA divisions. Data for market output, output for own final use, non-market output, compensation of employees, other taxes less subsidies on production, consumption of fixed capital, operating surplus and mixed income, net and gross, gross value added are presented by NACE divisions.
