In 2022, the turnover of enterprises covered by the survey of structural business statistics reached 8233.4 bn PLN (25.4% more than in 2021).
According to the survey of structural business statistics, in 2022 the number of active enterprises increased by 0.4% year-on-year to 2,675.9 thousand units. This change occurred as a result of a 3.4% increase in the number of enterprises in services. Declines were recorded in other activities, including 2.9% in trade; repair of motor vehicles.
The number of persons employed increased by 1.1% in 2022 compared to the previous period and amounted to 11,511.3 thousand people, the largest increase in the number of persons employed was in other sections (by 3.5%) and services (by 2.7%).
