In 2020, the turnover of enterprises covered by the survey of structural business statistics reached 5,098.0 bn PLN (0.5% more than in 2019). Production value amounted to 3,398.9 bn PLN (1.8% more than in 2019).
According to the survey of structural business statistics, in 2020 the number of active enterprises increased by 2.2% per annum and amounted to 2,066 thousand units. The increase in the number of enterprises was recorded in construction (by 9.0%), services (by 2.1%) and industry (by 0.7%). There was a decline only in trade; repair of motor vehicles (by 1.5%).
