In 2019 the number of institutional care facilities for children up to age of 3 increased by 15.4% compared to the previous year. There were 4.4 thousand nurseries, children’s clubs and nursery wards, which had 159.9 thousand places. The indicator of the number of children per 1 thousand population aged up to 3 increased from 105 in 2018 to 124 in 2019.
