In 2020 the number of institutional care facilities for children up to age of 3 increased by 5.0% compared to the previous year. There were 4.6 thousand nurseries, children’s clubs and nursery wards, which had 173.5 thousand places. The indicator of the number of children per 1 thousand population aged up to 3 increased from 124 in 2019 to 128 in 2020.
