It contains a synthetic presentation of a comprehensive set of results of statistical surveys, the functioning sub-systems of the National Environmental Monitoring and administrative sources characterising the state, hazards and protection of the environment in 2014 compared to previous years. Data concerns the natural conditions and individual components of the environment, the issues related to waste, radiation and noise, the activities aimed at protecting and controlling the environment, the economic aspects of environmental protection, including investment outlays and material effects, as well as current costs.

In the 3rd quarter of 2015 seasonally adjusted Gross Domestic Product (GDP) (constant prices, reference year 2010) was higher by 0.9 % than in the previous quarter and 3.7 % higher than in the 3rd quarter of the previous year.

Price index of investment outlays in the first three quarters of 2015 as compared to the first three quarters of 2014 was 101.5 (prices increased by 1.5%).

It outlines the Polish maritime economy after 2000 – the condition and structure of business entities, the number of employees, economic results, sea and maritime and coastal transport fleet and transport made by Polish maritime carriers, cargo turnover, the movement of passengers and ships in ports, shipbuilding, marine fisheries and fishery, maritime education and science.
