The numer of employed persons in national economy, employment status, selected categories of the employed, foreigners, retirees, elements employment movement by sources of recruitment and resons for termination.

According to final data, at the end of 2021, the number of employed persons in the national economy[1] was 15.0 million. Compared with the last day of 2020, this was an increase of 213.6 thousand persons.

In the period from February 24, 2022 to June 30, 2022, 70.2% of households in Poland provided aid to the inhabitants of covered by the war Ukraine (following the Russian full-scale invasion).

The number of non-financial enterprises increased by 4.2% y/y, amounting to 2 356.0 thousand entities in 2021. Microenterprises dominated in this sector. Trade units remained the largest group in population of non-financial enterprises, despite the decrease in their share from 30.4% in 2010 to 20.8% in 2021. About 1/5 of enterprises had their registered offices in Mazowieckie Voivodship.
