In the 4th quarter of 2022, there was an increase in border traffic of foreigners by 26.4% and of Poles by 20.1%, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The values of goods and services purchased in this period by foreigners in Poland and goods and services purchased by Poles abroad were higher than in the 4th quarter of 2021 by 38.9% and 40.0% respectively.
