Assessment of the situation in manufacturing, construction, trade and services is based upon the subjective opinions about actual and future business situation expressed by the directors of the surveyed companies. The quarterly data in manufacturing are available in January, April, July and October. The data on investments in manufacturing and investments in construction are available in March and October.

Rich set of statistics on the numbers and structure of the population of Poland in 2023, and retrospective data prepared on the basis of population summaries. Data on vital statistics (characteristics of new marriages, adjudged divorces and separations, as well as births and deaths), as well as lifespan and forecast of the population’s condition and structure.

In January-September of 2024 financial results of the surveyed non-financial enterprises were significantly lower comparing to those obtained a year earlier. The economic and financial indicators deteriorated. Investment outlays were lower by 7.5% than those recorded in January-September of 2023 (when there was an increase by 11.5%).

In October 2024 retail sales at constant prices were by 1.3% higher than the year before (against an increase of 2.8% in October 2023). Compared with September 2024, an increase by 7.8% in retail sales was recorded. In the period of January-October 2024 sales increased y/y by 2.4% (against a decrease by 2.6% in corresponding period of 2023).
