In November the assessments of general business climate indicator in most of presented kinds of activities are at a similar or higher level as compared to the ones presented in October. In the case of seasonally adjusted data, majority of these kinds of activities assess it more favourably than in the previous month. In all areas, except for retail trade, the indicator is below the long-term mean. In most of areas, month-to-month level of both "diagnostic" and "forecasting" components increases or remains unchanged.

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products decreased in October 2023 in comparison with the previous month (by 0.3%) as well as while compared to the corresponding period of the last year (by 17.7%).

The Yearbook contains the basic information on the numbers and structure of the population of Poland in 2022, and retrospective data prepared on the basis of population summaries and data on vital statistics (characteristics of new marriages, adjudged divorces and separations, births and deaths), as well as lifespan. Moreover, in the yearbook information about internal and international population migrations, and a short version of the international comparison was presented.

In November 2023, there was an improvement in both current and future consumer sentiment moods compared to the previous month. The current consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was -15.1[1] which was by 2.8 p.p. higher in relation to last month.

In the period of January - October 2023, there were less dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project as well as dwellings in which construction has begun also decreased.

According to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was in October 2023 by 9.8% higher than in the same period of 2022 (an increase of 3.9% in the corresponding period of 2022) and by 2.5% higher compared to September 2023 (an increase of 4.0% in the corresponding period of 2022).

Presentation of changes concerning the number of beneficiaries, gross benefits, average gross benefit by type (retirement, disability pension, survivors' pensions), dynamics of observed changes and relation to average monthly wages - within the non-agricultural social security system (integration SII, MDN, MIA and MJ) as well as the individual farmers' insurance system (ASIF data).

In October 2023 retail sales at constant prices were by 2.8% higher than the year before (against an increase of 0.7% in October 2022). Compared with Septmber 2023, an increase by 3.2% in retail sales was recorded. In the period of January-October 2023 sales decreased y/y by 2.6% (in 2022 a growth of 6.0%).
