In November the assessments of general business climate indicator remain negative in most of presented kinds of activities.

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products1 increased in October 2022 in comparison with the previous month (by 0.2%) as well as while compared to the corresponding month of the previous year (by 56.7%).

In October 2022, average paid employment in the enterprise sector compared to October 2021 was higher by 2.4% y/y and amounted to 6500.9 thousand full-time equivalents. In comparison to the previous month average paid employment increased minimally (by 0.1%).

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold pr-duction of industry in October 2022 increased compared to September 2022 by 0.7% and compared to that recorded in the corresponding month of the previous year - by 22.9%.

Average monthly gross wage and salary in enterprise sector in October 2022 was PLN 6687.92

In October 2022, sold production of industry was by 6.8% higher than in October 2021, when an increase was recorded by 7.6% as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, whereas in comparison with September 2022, it decreased by 0.7%.

Average monthly wage and salary in enterprise sector excluding payments from profit in October 2022 was PLN 6687,75

According to preliminary data, in October 2022 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 15.2%, and in comparison with September 2022 - by 1.3%.

Presentation of changes concerning the number of beneficiaries, gross benefits, average gross benefit by type (retirement, disability pension, survivors' pensions), dynamics of observed changes and relation to average monthly wages - within the non-agricultural social security system (integration SII, MDN, MIA and MJ) as well as the individual farmers' insurance system (ASIF data).

It is the first time that the publication has been made available under the publication series “Statistical analyses”. The information, which have been included in the publication regard i.a. economic activity of the population, employed persons and labour turnover, registered unemployment, demand for labour, exposure at risk factors at work and accidents at work. In addition, the publication presents results of a multidimensional analysis aimed to study impact of the coronavirus pandemic on selected characteristics of the labour market in Śląskie Voivodship in 2019–2021 by Dominik Krężołek, Ph.D., D.Sc. The publication consists of an executive summary, analysis, methodological notes as well as statistical tables, maps and charts. The publication is available on the website of the Statistical Office katowice.stat.gov.pl, together with a tabular part in Excel format. The data set in the tables is presented by type of activity according to the Polish Classification of Activities – PKD 2007, as well as by subregions, powiats and gminas. I hope that the publication will be a useful source of knowledge for all interested in the subject matter.
